Which ETFs are used and which are not?

We use what we consider to be the best ETFs and index funds from reputable providers, after thoroughly checking them for liquidity, low product costs and tax efficiency. We are completely independent in our selection. For tax efficiency reasons, we also use withholding tax-exempt index funds for Pillar 3a.

The products used are mostly physically replicating and domiciled in Switzerland, Europe (Ireland and Luxembourg) and the USA. We do not use instruments that contradict our passive, index-oriented investment philosophy and are not geared towards maximum market participation. These are:

  • Leveraged ETFs
  • Short ETFs
  • Exchange-traded active funds (active ETFs)
