How large are the FX spreads on Pillar 3a from True Wealth?
At True Wealth, the FX spreads incurred when trading ETF or index funds in foreign currencies are only 10 pips (percentage in point), which is around 0.1% for the currency pairs we use. This is very low compared to other providers, for which these are typically five times higher.
Some ETFs and index funds on foreign asset classes are not only tradable in the currency of the target market (USD, EUR or GBP), but also in CHF. Since we do not earn anything on the FX spreads, we are independent in the choice of trading currency and in many cases (if the conditions are otherwise comparable) trade the investment instruments in CHF, for the benefit of your investment return.
