How secure is True Wealth?
Security is a top priority at True Wealth. We continuously invest in our IT infrastructure and operational processes to minimize risks. In particular, significant changes to trading or rebalancing algorithms are subject to a code review, approved by our risk management team and extensively tested before and after release. In addition, we regularly commission IT security experts to carry out vulnerability analyses and penetration tests. Specifically, the following measures have already been implemented (non-exhaustive list):
- All communication between our website and a web browser is encrypted.
- Two-factor authentication (2FA) is supported and encouraged.
- Passwords are only stored in hashed form.
- Cash deposits and securities are not held with us, but with a custodian bank.
- Statutory deposit protection or state guarantee on cash deposits. More information here.
- Withdrawals are only possible to a bank account in the customer's name.
- Detailed system logs of all computer activities
- Regular training and sensitization of all employees
- Direct supervision by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA
