The investment universe
True Wealth invests all of its clients' money in exchange-traded index funds (ETFs). The sustainable portfolios are invested in ETFs that track sustainable indices, such as the SRI indices of the provider MSCI. MSCI produces a ranking of environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues and uses this to compile indices for equities and bonds. The Socially Responsible Investing indices (SRI) only include the most sustainable 25 percent of all companies in each sector.
The portfolio construction
True Wealth is the first asset manager to offer online asset management with sustainable ETFs. As with traditional investments, True Wealth uses an online assessment to classify its clients according to their risk capacity and suggests a diversified investment mix. Customers can adjust this mix themselves. There are no transaction fees for clients. They are included with a low asset management fee of 0.5 percent. This applies not only to individual adjustments and regular rebalancing, but also to switching from a traditional to a sustainable investment universe.
