Can I deactivate currency hedging?
Yes, click on the «Investment Mix» tab and press «Investment Preferences». There you will find the switch to disable currency hedging. The prerequisite is that you have updated your investment mix after the end of May 2024.
Please note that deactivating the proposed currency hedging will reduce the degree of diversification of your portfolio and will have an equal impact on your untied assets and Pillar 3a.
In addition, the usual one-off transaction costs (bid-ask spreads and stamp duties) may apply to the conversion.
You can find more information on currency hedging and how we deal with it in our video podcast.
